On March 8, 2025, People Community Development Society (PCDS) organized a special program in Proddatur, YSR Kadapa district, in collaboration with Self-Help for Assistance (S4HA) to empower women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The event focused on enhancing the socio-economic status of women by providing financial literacy, skill development, and self-sufficiency training. During the program, successful SHG women entrepreneurs shared their experiences, inspiring others to take up self-employment. Educational scholarships were awarded to 10 students to support their academic aspirations. The event also emphasized the importance of women's financial independence and community support for sustainable livelihoods. PCDS remains committed to fostering women's empowerment and self-reliance through continuous guidance, training, and support.
